Air Max 90 — The People's Air Max
AM90 is the most repped Air Max model — widest batch selection, most QC data, and the closest-to-retail accuracy available. OWF leads with an 8.9 score but H12 competes closely at 8.5. The Infrared colorway has the most data since it's the control test for AM90 batches.
OWF and H12 are the two real options for AM90. OWF's edge comes from superior air bubble clarity and more accurate panel proportions. H12's AM90 is slightly chunkier in profile — noticeable in side view but not on foot. PK makes AM90s but the shape accuracy drops noticeably. Budget batches produce acceptable beaters but the air bubble is usually foggy. The Air Max hub has the full family context.
AM90's distinctive design elements — the reverse swoosh, the tape across the upper, the contrasting mudguard — create multiple QC checkpoints. The Infrared colorway's red panel needs precise color matching, which is why it's the hardest AM90 to rep accurately. For easier colorways (black/white, triple white), both OWF and H12 perform well. Check the QC guide for AM90-specific angles and the sizing guide for fit data.
Bottom Line
OWF for best overall AM90 quality. H12 as a strong value alternative. For Infrared specifically, OWF's color accuracy justifies the premium. For simpler colorways, H12 at ¥260 delivers 95% of OWF's quality. Skip budget batches on AM90 — the air bubble quality ruins it.

About This Guide
AM90 is the most commonly repped Air Max and therefore has the most data. I update this page more frequently than any other Air Max model because new batch versions drop regularly.
