Nike Air Max rep comparison — AM90, AM95, AM97. Best batches, sizing, QC and buy links for all Air Max reps.
View Air Max Listings ↗The Air Max family covers three decades of Nike cushioning evolution — from the AM1's first visible Air window to the AM95's gradient neoprene panels to the AM97's full-length Air unit. Each model is a different construction challenge for rep factories. LJR handles all three, with slightly different accuracy levels per model.
AM90 is LJR's strongest Air Max rep. The multi-panel upper, waffle outsole, and visible Air bubble are all reproduced accurately. The fit is TTS and breaks in after a few wears — exactly like retail. AM90 OG White/Red and Triple Black are the benchmark colorways and both are clean on LJR. Start here if you're new to Air Max reps.
AM95 is slightly more complex due to the gradient upper panels. LJR's Neon colorway is good but not flawless — the gradient transition between grey and neon yellow is very slightly less defined than retail. For Triple Black and Triple White AM95s, this isn't an issue at all, and those colorways are fully GL-worthy. TTS sizing across the range.
AM97 is where sizing becomes the main conversation. All AM97 rep batches run half a size large — PK God and LJR alike. Order down. Once you've got the sizing right, PK God's AM97 is well-executed, with the wavy upper lines accurate and the full-length Air unit correctly profiled. The Silver Bullet reflective strip is slightly less intense than retail under direct flash — in normal lighting you won't notice.
The Air Max line encompasses multiple silhouettes with different quality benchmarks and batch availability. AM90 and AM97 are the most consistently replicated with deep batch documentation. AM1 and AM95 require more careful research as quality variance between batches is higher. Newer Air Max releases (AM720, AM2021) have limited batch options and less community verification data compared to classic silhouettes.
For buyers building a multi-Air Max haul, the most efficient research approach is to anchor your batch selection around the most-documented colorways and silhouettes, then use those as quality reference points when evaluating less-documented options. Community comparison posts showing multiple Air Max silhouettes from the same seller are useful for establishing batch consistency expectations.
Air Max research rewards buyers who go beyond general batch recommendations to find colorway-specific verification. The same batch can produce different results on different colorways depending on the material and color requirements of each. Community posts showing your specific colorway are more valuable than general batch reviews, even for well-documented batches. Make colorway-specific verification a standard part of your Air Max research process.
The Air Max line covers a wide range of construction complexity. Air Max 90 is the most forgiving — its relatively simple construction means most mid-tier batches perform adequately. Air Max 97 and 95 are more demanding, with the 97's full-length Air unit profile and the 95's gradient mesh requiring more precise replication. The batch guide covers how LJR, PK God, and TS batch rank across each Air Max silhouette.
Each Air Max has its own page: Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Air Max 97, and Air Max 1. Each page has batch-specific quality scores, QC notes, and current pricing data.
Sizing across Air Max reps follows a general true-to-size pattern, but individual silhouettes differ. The sizing tool handles per-silhouette notes for each major Air Max model. The QC checklist covers Air unit clarity and gradient accuracy — the two most batch-sensitive elements. The agent guide compares CNFans, Kakobuy, and Sugargoo.
